30-year warranty for aluminum products
All our aluminum gates, fences, railings, pergolas, carports are guaranteed 30 years against any manufacturing defect or abnormal deformation. This warranty is granted subject to absolute compliance with the conditions of use and maintenance.
2-year warranty for hardware accessories
The accessories and hardware that equip our gates such as hinges, handles, locks, fixings, rollers, electric strikes, etc., benefit from a 2-year warranty against defects in operation, material or manufacturing.

30-year warranty for aluminum products

A Kostum that lasts
30-year warranty for powder coating ¹
Powder coating is guaranteed under the following conditions for a period of 30 years if all the elements composing the work are of the same class:
-Peeling,
-Flaking or blistering,
-Corrosion (other than corrosion caused by bending or deformation due to impacts or other interactions of external elements.)

Kostum has been able to weave and develop a strong partnership with Somfy, a major player in connected homes. In a logic of mutual commitments to progress and innovation, Kostum partners with Somfy to offer you equipment derived from shared know-how and expertise.
2-year warranty with BFT
Historical partner of Kostum, all BFT brand motors are guaranteed 2 years from the date of purchase. The installation of our products is carried out in compliance with the gate and motor installation guides.

Gate standards
Our swing and sliding gates, manual and motorized, are designed and manufactured for your safety in compliance with the European standard NF EN 13241-1. CE compliance was awarded to us following the completion of tests and provides the guarantee of quality and consistency of manufacturing. All our gates have a marking certifying compliance with this regulation. We recommend not to operate our gates or wickets during windy episodes. Test trials have been validated by CEBTP. The glazing incorporated in our railings complies with DTU 39 and EN 356 standard which guarantee the residual stability of the glazing as well as the retention of the person causing the breakage and thus preventing their fall.
